Sunshine Home Inspection’s journey in New Orleans is entering its final chapter. Our home office at 1228 Pine St. is for sale and can be found on Zillow, but the home inspection business isn’t going anywhere just yet. For the next year and a half, we’ll continue to serve the New Orleans community, and I’ll be looking for a new place to call home here, with the Magazine Street area and Audubon Park looking like strong contenders.
After about 15 wonderful years, my time in this amazing city is coming to an end soon. New Orleans has given me so much—the culture, Carnival, Jazz Fest, the incredible people, friends and of course, the music. The best part of all was every moment that I spent with my son Kepler. I have loved every minute of it. However, my homeland in Cleveland, Ohio, is calling me back to be closer to old friends and family.
My plan is to relocate Sunshine Home Inspection to Cleveland and continue working for a few more years before I head into retirement. I’m looking forward to getting back to sailing on Lake Erie and making excursions to Put-in-Bay, a lively island just a short trip from the mainland. And yes, I’ll be trading my po’ boys for snow days, sledding, and snowball fights—but I’ll never forget the good times here.
