I recently used Sunshine Home Inspection to conduct a pre-purchase inspection of a home in the greater New Orleans area. While not the cheapest inspector I found, hiring Thomas was the best decision I made during the home buying process and worth every penny, two times over. When I arrived at the property at the appointed time, Thomas was already there and was just completing his inspection of the crawl space. He went over in great detail all of his findings before we moved onto the rest of the inspection. He didn’t mind at all me asking hundreds of questions during the inspection. Prompt service. My husband and I are moving long distance to New Orleans, so we were not able to be there for the inspection. My experience was a little unusual. I hired Thomas to give me his professional opinion and advice on some work I was preparing to do on my house. Thomas explained everything so that I could understand it and the price for his time and expertise was quite reasonable. He saved me a great deal of time and money by explaining which improvements were, and which were not worth making. He explained the pros and cons of foam sealing, radiant barrier, and other insulation that I was considering for my attic and crawl space. He also gave me a checklist of things to look for after the work was completed. I was very satisfied and pleased that I went to him for help.

Sunshine has done two inspections for us and I have to say that I am thoroughly satisfied with all aspects of the process. They have been very professional and have taken plenty of time to point out and describe any and all deficiencies they have found. Reports were in depth and delivered quickly.
